Alot to Talk About

First of all:

That's right. Two tickets to the Adelaide concert in March. Mosh Pit. I've already decided to stand near the tree. I'm all for the theatrical stuff but I prefer the intimate acoustic side of Taylor. It's a choice every Swifty has got to make for herself - or himself.

If Taylor sticks to her habit of doing covers of musician from the town she performs in on her Australian leg, I wonder who she'll cover at the Adelaide concert. It's seven months away, way too early to speculate but in my mind, the most likely suspects are:

Guy Sebastian

Beccy Cole

Orianthi

If you don't know who they are... Google it. I'm not ruling out Jimmy Barnes/Cold Chisel. Taylor does like her eighties rock. What else?

Oh, yeah. She didn't win the MTV award; Lady Gaga did. She (if that's the right word) was very... interesting the entire evening. Not really surprising, though. I tell you what would surprise me: if she came out with little or no makeup, hair merely brushed in a t-shirt and jeans. That would be innovative.

She's Lady Gaga. Everybody expects her to do something weird. He was pretty funny - I mean, she. Next?

Two pieces of news, both Bieber-related. I just can't seem to escape that guy. Ah, the perils of being a Swifty. I actually have nothing personal against Justin but having good taste in female companions and being a nice guy who supports multiple charitable organisations and stands up against bullying, as well as being genuinely talented does not erase the fact that his music is just plain awful.

Have you actually listened to his songs? There's one that compares being in love to maths. WTF?Anyway, first piece of news: Punk'd is back!
Yay. It's so weird because I was just thinking the other day how big of a shame it was that that show isn't on anymore, and the main reason that occured to me was because I wanted to see Taylor being Punk'd. Guess who's the first target of the new season?

That's right. Justin was her Prankster. It was taped the other week and I have no idea what the prank was. Go here for more deets. We'll probably have to wait a while to see that episode, particularly those of us who don't live in the states.

Oh, well - that's what YouTube's for.

The second piece of news is that Taylor and Justin wrote a song together. This might just be a little private thing between friends - Taylor has written literally hundreds of songs that will most likely never be heard - but it could lead to a collaberative single release, which would be cool because she hasn't done one of those lately. It would also be cool to hear something from Justin that was halfway decent and not over-produced, since he can actually sing quite well and doesn't need all that electronic crap his songs are loaded with.

Breaking news: Taylor Swift played yet another show at the Staples Centre in LA and was joined on stage by a surprise guest. I know; shocking, right? Hot Chelle Rae
were ok the other night but this time, Taylor really pulled out the big guns with Nicki Minaj. That was so cool of Nicki to come out on such a busy day and perform with Taylor.

After the song, Niki thanked Taylor for starting the Superbass trend that brought her music into the mainstream and made the song a single. Well, Selena Gomez helped, but yes, that was pretty cool how that happened.
